| · Hands-on experience in design and development of sheet metal and machining parts.
· Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solidworks and AutoCAD.
· Strong knowledge of Geometrical Dimensions & Tolerances (GD&T).
· Technical understanding paired with cost awareness.
· Knowledge of analysis software, preferably ANSYS (Structural, Thermal, CFD, and Electrical), is an added advantage.

• Design concepts for new products under development, considering product specifications.
• Develop heat dissipation and electromagnetic circuit concepts, considering the required protection classes as per IEC standards.
• Design and develop enclosures for electronic products based on product specifications, relevant ISO and IEC standards, and cost constraints.
• Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing/fabrication, including tolerance considerations as per ISO standards, and create other supporting files/documents required for manufacturing.
• Design and develop test setups required for product validation.
• Validate prototypes as per specifications and relevant standards.
• Modify existing designs based on test results to improve performance or meet specification requirements.
• Modify design or manufacturing processes of existing products for performance improvement and cost reduction.
• Prepare Product Fabrication BOM and product BOM.
• Create item codes in coordination with the respective team and incorporate them in SAP.
• Conduct product testing with external labs to obtain required certificates.
• Work on continuous product enhancement to improve performance, reduce costs, and increase reliability.
• Analyze customer complaints, field issues, and production-related issues, and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain all work-related data with accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments like Purchase, Production, Quality Control, Service, and Marketing.
• Coordinate with vendors to get products manufactured/fabricated and resolve queries raised by vendors.
