Designation Senior Engineer – Robotics

Qualification BE / B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
Experience 1.      3-5 years in embedded systems, electrical circuit design, and power management for robots.

2.      Experience with sensor systems (e.g., cameras, LIDAR, IMUs), actuators, and power systems.

Required Skills 3.      Knowledge of low-level hardware interfaces and embedded system programming.

4.      Industrial Background: Experience with robotic hardware, sensor integration, and actuator control (motors, servos, hydraulic, pneumatic systems). Work in the consumer robotics or industrial automation sectors.

5.      Computer Proficiency: Proficient in embedded systems programming (C, C++, embedded Python).

6.      Familiarity with hardware programming environments (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and custom boards).

7.      PCB design software (e.g., Eagle, Altium).

8.      Knowledge of communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and CAN.

JD 1.      Design and develop embedded systems for robotic platforms, focusing on low-level hardware

2.      interfaces and efficient programming for real-time performance.

3.      Design and test electrical circuits, ensuring compatibility with robotic components such as sensors, actuators, and power management systems.

4.      Integrate and troubleshoot various sensors (e.g., cameras, LIDAR, IMUs) and actuators (motors, servos, hydraulic, pneumatic systems) to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

5.      Develop and implement power distribution systems, including battery management and optimization of power consumption for robots.

6.      Utilize PCB design tools such as Eagle and Altium to design and prototype custom circuit boards for robotic systems.

7.      Conduct electrical testing and debugging on robotic hardware to ensure reliability, performance, and safety.

8.      Work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into the larger robotic platforms and provide technical support during the development lifecycle.

9.      Maintain detailed documentation for circuit designs, testing procedures, and code implementation to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
